This Privacy Policy explains how Shaking Head AI (this website, the “Service”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. Product rules (generations, acceptable use, copyright) are also covered in our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

1. Account information — email, name/display name, password hashes or auth tokens, and profile details you provide (including via third-party sign-in if enabled).
2. Usage and generation data — features used, job/task status, selected mode/duration/aspect ratio, credit balance changes, device/browser type, IP address, and diagnostics for security and operations.
3. User Content — photos you upload, prompts, and generated videos and metadata needed to run and deliver jobs.
4. Payment-related data — processed primarily by our Merchant of Record / payment processor Waffo Pancake (and any other providers we enable). We typically receive payment status, order identifiers, and limited billing metadata — not full card numbers on our servers.
5. Cookies and similar technologies — to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as locale), and secure or measure the Service.
6. Communications — support tickets, emails, and messages you send us.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide meme video generation (upload a photo, run jobs, store outputs briefly, enable download).
• Authenticate accounts, enforce credit limits, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Process payments, grant or revoke credits, and send transactional notices.
• Operate email (verification, password reset, notices when enabled).
• Improve reliability, debug failures, and secure the Service.
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Sharing & Subprocessors

To deliver the Service we transmit data to infrastructure and subprocessors as needed, which may include:

• Cloud hosting and object storage for uploads and outputs.
• AI inference / video generation providers.
• Email delivery providers.
• Waffo Pancake (and other payment providers if enabled) for checkout, tax, and payouts.
• Security or anti-abuse services when configured.

These parties process data on our behalf or as independent controllers where required by their role (for example payment institutions / Merchant of Record). We share only what is needed for the requested function.

5. Retention

• Account data is kept while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, or dispute purposes after closure (often on the order of months for billing records).
• Uploaded frames and output videos are retained only for a limited period so you can download them. After retention ends, files may be deleted and no longer downloadable.
• Logs and security records may be kept as needed for operations and abuse prevention.

Exact windows can change; the product UI (for example My Creations) reflects whether a file is still available.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and core functionality. We may use additional cookies or similar tools for preferences or analytics if enabled. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

You can update some account details in settings, download available outputs before they expire, and contact us to request account-related deletion. We may verify your identity and retain certain records where legally required (for example payment history).

We and our providers may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your region, and in any case users must meet the age requirement in our Terms, generally 18 for purchases). Do not use the Service if you are under the applicable age.
